Commercial Real Estate Solutions was founded in 2000 when two of Austin's most successful tenant representation firms - Hanly Realty Advisors and Carter King & Company - formed a new partnership to better serve the business needs of Austin and Central Texas. Backed by nearly 60 years of experience, the new firm immediately became Austin's largest, most respected, locally-owned tenant representation firm.

The Austin Business Journal has recognized CRES as a "Commercial Real Estate Heavy Hitter" and as one of the "Top 25 Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Firms" every year since the company's inception. CRES has also received CoStar's "Power Broker" award every year since 2001.
